Reigning Africa 100m champion Ferdinand Omurwa Omanyala and Maximilla Imali will lead Kenyan sprinters at the Commonwealth Games set for Birmingham, Great Britain.
Today, Omanyala eased his way to victory in the 100m during the second and last day of Athletics Kenya national trials held at the Kasarani stadium.
The Africa 100m record holder won the race in 10.03 seconds after having his personal best of 9.77 and season best of 9.85.
He beat Africa 4x100m gold medallist Samuel Imeta to second place in 10.25 as 2015 Africa 400m silver medallist Boniface Mweresa came third.
He will be teaming up with Imeta in 100m at the Commonwealth Games.
