Reigning Commonwealth Games 100m champion Ferdinand Omurwa Omanyala has joined top sprinters into the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan.
The Africa 100m record holder has managed to deep into the 10 seconds and below to qualify for the event that runs from September 13th to 21st where men have to run 10 seconds and below.
Last night, Omanyala clocked 9.88 at the Silesia Diamond League two weeks ago and will be joining the great sprinters like Noah Lyles, Fred Kerley, Kenny Bednarek, Christian Coleman and Courtney Lindsey.
Others include Kishane Thompson, Ackeem Blake, Oblique Seville, Benji Richardson and Akani Simbine.
Also on the list is Letsile Tebogo, Marcell Jacobs and Andre de Grasse
