Omanyala lose Borisa Hanzekovica title to Bracy and Azu

Reigning Olympic Games 100m champion Ferdinand Omurwa Omanyala finished third at the Memorial Borisa Hanzekovica Meeting in Zagreb, Croatia today evening.

The reigning Africa 100m champion lost the title to American World 100m silver medallist Marvin Bracy for the second time in a row when Omanyala clocked 10.19 to finish third with Bracy winning in 9.97sec and European 100m bronze medallist Jeremiah Azu timed 10.14 for second.

At first, Omanyala and Bracy ran at Spitzen Leichtathletik, a World Athletics Continental Silver Tour on August 30 at Stadion Allmend, Lucerne, Switzerland where Bracy won in 10.17 with Omanyala settled second in 10.18.
