Ominde, the star as Oilers beat champions KCB to book Kabras in Kenya Cup final

Geoffrey Ominde was the star as Memengai Oilers ended the four year Kenya Cup dominance by champions KCB in yesterday’s Kenya Cup semifinal play-offs played at KCB Ruaraka Grounds.

As former champions Kabras Sugar stunned Strathmore Leos to reach the finals set for next weekend in Kakamega’s ASK Showground.

Oilers were too good for KCB by winning 24-17 to book Kabras at the finals where Ominde scored four penalities with Darwin Mukidza.

In Kakamega, 2016 champions Kabras beat Leos for the second time in a row in the semis to storm the finals in 29-09.
