Tailor Ongwae, Derrick Ogechi and Joel Awich will be joining Morans, the national men’s basketball team in Tunisia for the FIBA Afro-Basket Window 1 Qualifiers.
Coached by Cliff Owuor, Morans will be seeking their maiden appearance at the championships where Ongwae, plays in Germany, Ogechi in Spain and Awicch in France will fly direct to the venue.
Yesterday, the team was boosted by the Information, Communications and the Digital Economy Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo who donated two sets of playing kits at the Nyayo National Stadium gymnasium.
They are in Group ‘E’ and will meet Tunisia, Angola and Guinea.
