Kenyan Allan Oyende will be enjoying an overnight lead at the ongoing East. Central and Southern Africa Scrabble (ECASA) championships in Jinjia, Uganda.
Heading to Uganda after losing the last qualifier in Eldoret, Oyende has picked up the pieces, guiding team Kenya with one step to defend their title.
The three-day regional tournament that started on Friday, will be culminating tomorrow where scrabblers will be playing a maximum of 27 games.
After the second day with 20 games played, ten on Friday and ten todays, Oyende has lost three followed closely by Ugandan Edgar Odongkara, who was part of the last qualifiers in Eldoret.
Team kenya has lead Uganda and Zimbabwe in second and third positions respectively.
