Rising Stars, the national under 20 team has hit the training ground ahead of the 2019 CECAFA under 20 tournament to be held in Gulu, Uganda latter this month.
Coached by Stanley Okumbi, the Rising Stars has set the preparations high as they are set to depart for Uganda on Wednesday as the tournament will kick off on September 21st to October 5th.
The youngsters leads pool B that has Ethiopia, Zanzibar and Tanzania while pool B while pool A has hosts Sudan, Eritrea, and Djibouti make up Group A while Burundi, South Sudan, and Somalia constitute Group C.
The top three teams from Group A and B will join the top two from Group C in the quarterfinals.
