Rising Stars, the national under 20 football team came from a goal down to trounce Burundi to qualify into the semifinals of the CECAFA Under 20 tournament in Jinja, Uganda.
The comeback was good for former Harambee Stars head coach Stanley Okumbi.
Hamim Hakizimana gave Burundi the lead but Patrick Otieno levelled in the 76th minute before Benson Ochieng sealed the victory for Kenya.
Kenya started well in the tournament after beating Zanzibar 5-0, drew 2-2 with Tanzania and whipped Ethiopia 4-0 to make it into the quarterfinals and now they will face Kenya the winner between hosts Uganda and Ethiopia.
