A new champion will be born at this Sunday’s Rotterdam marathon in Netherlands.
Last year’s winner Kenneth Kipkemoi has shifted his focus to compete at Boston marathon this month.
In Rotterdam, focus will be on two time winner Marius Kipserem who won in 206 and defended the title in 2017 before Kipkemoi denied him a hat trick in 2018.
Others in the lineup include Kenyan born turned Turkish international and two time Africa Athletics silver Medalist Kaan Kigen Ozbilen formerly Mike Kigen will also be in the mix. Sydney marathon champion Elijah kemboi and Aires marathon winner Emmanuel Saina will also be hunting the vacant title.
