Schools will join two time Olympic Games 1,500m champion Faith Chepng’etich Kipyegon and Angela Okutoyi are the top nominees for the Sportswoman of the Year Award (SOYA).
Today, the SOYA organisers released the statement released by the organisers, where schools returns to the soya list after missing last year.
They join Commonwealth Games champions Beatrice Chebet (5,000m) and Mary Moraa (800m), Boston Marathon champion Peres Jepchirchir and Chicago Marathon champion Ruth Chepng’etich, Malkia Strikers Sharon Chepchumba, golfer Naomi Wafula, and Kenya Lionesses rugby player Janet Okello.
