Organizers of the 2025 World Rally Championships (WRC), the Safari Rally in Kenya have assured the country and the world at large that there will be enough security during this year’s event set for Naivasha in Nakuru County later this month.
Today, the multi-agency security meeting was held to ensure a smooth and secure event set for March 20th to 23rd where the rally will traverse KICC and Kasarani in Nairobi before proceeding to Hell’s Gate in Naivasha.
To manage traffic effectively, Eric Kiragu, the Staff Officer of Operations in the Traffic Department, announced key traffic measures to facilitate smooth movement during the rally and outlined several road restrictions and diversions:
