Former Kenya Premier League side Shabana FC, Kisumu Hot Stars and Modern Coast Rangers registered wins in the National Super League (NSL) matches played on Sunday.
But it was a good weekend for Fortune Sacco who retained their top position on the table despite playing out to a draw with Police FC at Ruaraka grounds in Nairobi.
Shabana edged out Vihiga Bullets 2-1 away to Bukhungu stadium with Brian Michira bagging a brace to move to 6th position on the log with 11 points as Vihiga Bullets dropped to 14th.
At Mbaraki stadium, Modern Coast Rangers won against Murang’a Seal by a solitary goal while Kisumu Hot Stars beat former Kenyan Premier League side Sony Sugar 3-0 at Awendo Green stadium and Silibwet edged out visiting Mwatate at Kericho stadium.
Fortune Sacco went ahead through Dennis Kariuki, but Police equalized to lead the table on 14 points.
In other matches, Kisumu All Stars drew 2-2 over debutants Soy United at Moi stadium in Kisumu, Migori Youth and Mount Kenya drew 1-1.
