De La Sharks will open the promotion play-off match against Busia Olympics in tomorrow’s Football Kenya Federation National Division Two Western Zone A and B at the Mumboha stadium in Vihiga County.
Eldoret team will be chasing the solo promotion slot promotion play-offs in the, which were the winners of Zone B will be facing off with Busia Olympics that finished second in Zone B, while hosts Mayenje FC that led zone B take on Elim FC from Trans Nzoia County in the second match of the day after finishing second in Zone B.
Sharks manager Oliver Kiptoo said that as a team, they are well prepared for the play-offs with an eye to play at the Division One with only one team to be promoted.
“As a team, we are well prepared for the play-offs and ready to be promoted to the next level. The boys have had little time to prepare but we are set for the game,” said Kiptoo.
He added that his opponents, the Busia Olympics had enough time since their league ended earlier but that will not deter their efforts to succeed in the long run.
“I know our opponents are well prepared too after finishing their league earlier on compared to us but that is not an excuse. We are ready,” he added.
