Former Harambee Stars player Ibrahim Shikanda has been appointed as the assistant coach for Bandari FC.
The Coastal team finished second behind champions Gor Mahia in the 2019 season as Shikanda will deputise Bernard Munala ahead of 2019/2020 Kenya Premier League (KPL) kick off this month.
Club’s chairman Musa Hassan Musa has said hired the services of Shikanda to strengthen the team’s defence.
Shikanda has served at Nairobi Stima and Azam FC of Tanzania at various times between 2008 to 2013.
