Kenyan teams Shujaa and Morans will be seeking to win the title in their home soil as Safari sevens kicks off today at RFUEA Grounds, Nairobi.
The national sevens team Shujaa will be chasing her record ninth title as Morans will be targeting the second win.
Shujaa will be working their way to defend the title after they were pooled with national sevens series champions Homeboyz in pool B.
Shujaa will open the field at 11:50am against Homeboyz before playing Apache at 2:50pm and wrap up against Namibia at 4:50pm.
Former champions The Morans will be seeking their second title when they open the field against Uganda at 10:44am.
The 2000 champions will be up against two times Africa champions Uganda who won the continental cup in 2016 and 2017.
Placed inĀ a pool of death, The Morans will then play their second match against Portugal at 2:06pm andbend group staged against Mwamba rfc.
