Kenyan Simon Kamau Njeri was the champion of Verona marathon held today in Verona, Italy.
Kamau won the title in 2:18.46 beating Spaniard Lucien Epiney (2:27.33) to second and Great Britain’s Danny Kelly was third after clocking 2:29.49.
In women, Eliana Silvera was victorious in 2:53.41 followed by home girls Anna Zilio (2:56.10) and Elisa Viora (3:04.42).
