South Africa shine over Kenya at South Africa Solidarity Camp

South Africa continued with their dominance against Kenya’s Shujaa at the second leg of South Africa Solidarity 7s Camp.

In the third match, hosts defeated Innocent Simiyu side 38-07 to top the pool ahead of tomorrow’s finals at the Stellenbosch grounds.

This was the third loss in a row after beating tem last week in pool stages and at the finals.

After winning against South Afica 2 and Zimbabwe, South Africa 1 won the first try through Impi Visser converted try for 7-0 lead as Justin Geduld landed the second converted try for a 14-0 with Ruhan Nel adding the second try for a 21-07.

After break, skipper Siviwe Soyizwapi made the 4th converted try for 28-0 and Nelson Oyoo consolation try with Daniel Taabu adding the extras.

But the winners landed two late tries with Davids unleashing a pass to Chris Dry for a converted try while Muller du Plessis scored the final try after racing onto his own kick to ground the ball.
