St. Anthony’s High schools and Nyakach were the winners of the 2019 Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) games that came to an end today at Kisumu stadium.
It was also a win for Serani and former champions who won under 16 while Mogonga and Cheptil won volleyball titles.
The Rift Valley champions won the soccer under 19 in 5-4 post-match penalties against Nairobi’s Dagoretti High School following a barren draw in normal and extra time.
The Solidarity Boys from Trans Nzoia won the last title in 2012.
In girls’ hosts, Nyakach beat Rift valley’s Itigo in sweet revenge after they had beaten them in the preliminaries.
Faith Omuyaka scored the lone goal to win their maiden title in the 42nd minute.
In the under 16, Coast representatives Serani Boys and former champions Wiyeta Girls of Rift valley won the titles.

Kwanthanze won their 4th volleyball title in a row as Mogonga thrashed Lelmokwo to win the boys title.
Machakos based team won in five-setter in 26-24, 13-25, 22-25, 25-18 and 15-5.
