Former Eldoret golf club lady captain Catherine Gatua will lead a host of home golfers in this weekend’s Stabex International Golf on nine hole Eldoret golf club.
Gatua, who has been registering good results in various tournaments, said she will be doing her best to score better come Saturday though it wont be easy.
She said the dry season in Eldoret will pose a great challenge to golfers.
“During such dry season, the course doesent hold the ball hence posing a challenge but I will do my best to ensure that I get good results,” said Gatua.
She added that come Saturday, she will be working out and have good results.
Handicap 21 golfer will play alongside Sahil Shah, Mildred Natecho at 8:20am as Lukas Cheserek, David Kimutai, Ruth Cuthbert and Ahmed Ferej will be opening the greens at 7:40am.
