National women soccer team harambee Starlets has dropped one place in the latest fifa ranking.
Starlets now lies in position 149 in the world and number 28 on the African continent. This was a drop from was ranked at position 27 out of 44 nations as of December 9, 2022.
Nigeria top the African ranking but find themselves 42nd in the world.
South Africa, Cameroon, Ghana and Cote D’ivoire are second, third, fourth and fifth respectively.
Ethiopia 18, is the only Eastern Africa nation in the top 20 category. Rwanda 33, Burundi 40 and South Sudan 44, complete the list.
The Starlets will play an international friendly match against Albania on April 11 in Tirana, Football Kenya Federation (FKF) announced.
The team is expected to report to camp on March 30 and leaves for Albania on April 8, according to the communication.
