Malakwen who will the first on the tee at 8:00am will play against Gabrielle Rutto and Philip Kisuna, which he describes as the best option to be on the tee first according to the draw released by club captain Michael Kimutai.

Being the inaugural tournament on the course, Malakwen said he is privileged to play first since he assured of his preparedness for the tournament after a series of training sessions on the course.

“Am well prepared for the tournament following my successful training sessions. At the same time, the course is good especially the greens,” assured Malakwen.

As the region is currently receiving raining, well known for producing maize to feed the nation, Malakwen pointed out that the downpour will play a critical especially in the afternoons.

“The weather currently is not favourable because of rain and playing in the morning will give me an opportunity to excel against my opponents and finish early before the rain starts in the afternoon,” added the former captain.

Elisha Mwei will follow with K. Matonya and J. Limo ten minutes later before Jane Kisuna, F. Shiyuka and Robert Kae take on the next flight.
