Stephen Ochienge ditch Shabana for Pamba Jiji

Stephen Ochieng has ditched Shabana FC and joined Tanzania Premier League side Pamba Jiji.

Ochieng becomes the latest Kenyan player to secure a move across to Tanzania’s top flight league after Pamba Jiji confirmed Ochieng’s arrival through the club’s official channels.

“Modern goalkeeper Stephen Ochieng is now part of the family, having joined from Shabana FC of Kenya. Welcome to Pamba Jiji FC,” the club posted.

The former Ulinzi Stars goalkeeper enjoyed the best season of his career at Shabanaand his consistency earned him the league’s Golden Glove with 16 clean sheets.

Ochieng joins former Harambee Stars assistant Francis Baraza and John Waw serving in the technical bench, while Kenyan players Brian Eshihanda and Shaphan Oyugi are also part of the squad.
