Sunday gold rush as Kenya top the table again at world under 20

Kenya’s gold rush was witnessed on Sunday winning three gold medals on the last day of the World Under 20 Athletics Championships.

On the last day of the five day event, Kenya scooped four gold medals to wrap up the championship with 16 medals (8 gold, a silver and 7 bronze to top the medal standings, retaining the overall title won three years ago in Tampere, Finland.

  8. Amos Serem- 3,000m steeplechase men

Silver

  1. Zenah Jemutai Yego- 3,000m women

Bronze medalist

  1. Levy Kbet- 5,000m men
