Leaders FC Talanta came from a goal down to beat Mount Kenya United (MKU) to cement their top position in the National Super League.
The Kenya Kenyatta led side fell behind when Kevin Ndungu scored in the 9th minute to hand MKU the lead but Talanta’s Anthony Gicho settled the score in the 17th minute for one-all draw before Castro Ogendo sealed the victory for a 2-1 win in a match played at the GEMS Cambridge, Nairobi.
With the win, Talanta have gripped on the top with 53 points, six better than second-placed Kenya Police who will play Coast Stima tomorrow at Ruaraka grounds.
Newbies Soy United defeated fellow newcomers Mully Children Family (MCF) 2-1 at the Kerugoya stadium while Fortune Sacco thrashed Mwatate United 5-1 at Kianyaga Stadium.
