Top seed Kenya Lionesses to face Uganda and Belgium at Challenger pool matches

Kenya Lionesses, the national women rugby 7s team was seeded first at the second leg of rugby Challenger Series set for this weekend in Cape Town, South Africa.

This was after Kenya beat Argentina to win the first leg title yesterday in South Africa with the second leg set for March 7th to 8th.

Kenya now lies in pool A alongside neighbous Uganda and Belgium with both teams being familiar to each other. Last year, Belgium ended Kenya’s journey with a 26-7 in the third-place playoff at the final leg of the series in Poland.

But Kenya has dominated against Uganda and the win confirmed Kenya’s direct qualification to this year’s Challenger Series.
