Tuitoek and Kipkemboi are Rome Ostia half marathon champions

Former Atlanta half marathon champion Dorcas Jepchirchir Tuitoek and Isaac Kipkemboi were victorious at the Rome Ostia half marathon.

The Kapsabet based Tuitoek ran away with the title when she clocked 66:21 ahead of Kenyan born turned Israeli Lornah Salpeter and Magdalyne Masai completing the podium.

The 66.21 sets her new personal best time as Salpeter came second in a time of 66.56 and Masai was third in 67.07.

In men, it was also a 1-2 podium finish with Kipkemboi, running his personal best of 59:47 led compatriot Wesley Kimutai (59:47) to a podium while Ethiopian Tadese Takele Bikira was third in 59:56.
