Tusker, Nzoia shock Gor and Bidco with premier league wins

Leaders Tusker came from a goal down to beat Gor Mahia in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League match played at the Ruaraka grounds.

In another match, Nzoia Sugar defeated newbies Bidco United at the Nakuru ASK ground.

The former champions, Tusker registered a 2-1 victory against champions to open a gap at the summit of the table.

Tito Okello scored first for Gor in the 14th minute to give the champions for a 0-1 lead into break.

On resumption, Boniface Muchiri leveled the score in the 56th minute before Eugene Asike scored the match winner in the 90th minute to secure all three points for the brewers.

The win moved Tusker to four points lead to 50 points from 23 matches while Gor remained 4th on 39 points from 23 matches.

AFC Leopards, which plays Bandari tomorrow lies third on 40 points from 22 matches.

At Nakuru ASK Ground, Nzoia Sugar were 1-0 winners against newcomers Bidco United.

Hillary Simiyu scored the only goal to earn maximum points for the sugar millers in the 67th minute.
