Tusker silence reclaims FKF Cup title with a win over Kenya Police

Tusker’s Ian Simiyu bagged a brace to guide his team to reclaim FKF Cup title during the final match that was played yesterday at the Kwale stadium in Kwale County.

Tusker won 2-1 against Kenya Police FC to reclaim the title they won way back in 2016 to earn a slot to represent the country at the Confederation Cup.

Simiyu opened the score in the 18th minute before  Abud Omar leveled in the 21st minute then Simiyu doubled the score and sealing the victory in the 38th minute for 2-1 victory.

At the same venue, Bandari defeated KCB 2-0 to win bronze. The coast based Bandari scored through Amza Mubarak and Andrew Juma.

In addition, Humphrey Aroko and Amza Mubarak both bagged top scorer of the tournament with six goals apiece. Elvis Ochoro from KCB went home with best goalkeeper of the tournament.
