Unbeaten Bandari exit CECAFA Cup

Unbeaten Bandari Fc was eliminated from the ongoing CECAFA Kagame Cup when they registered their third consecutive draws on Friday evening.

The Bernard Mwalala led team played to a goalless draw against defending champion Azam FC from Tanzania to finish third in a tough B encounter at Huye stadium, Rwanda in the 16 team tournament.

First The Coast based team, which finished second in the kenya Premier league behind champions Gor Mahia played out to a one all draw against Uganda champions Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) and 2-2 draw over hosts Mukura Victory to end the pool with three points.

After making their debut, the Kenyan team draw was enough to sent them back home.

But KPL champions Gor Mahia qualified into the quarterfinals fater winning their opening matches in pool D.
