Unbeaten Kabras Sugar tops the table

Kabras Sugar extended their unbeaten run in today’s Kenya Cup Rugby League match against Impala Saracens in Kakamega.

Top scorer Philip touched down thrice in a 42-10 win for an easy win against Sarries to extend their winning ways to fifth since the league started to earn consecutive bonus victory as they head to Christmas break at the top of the league standings with 25 points. The Western Kenya Millers are now the only team yet to concede defeat as the league entered its fifth leg.

Defending champions Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) edged out Homeboyz 34-15 at the Ruaraka Sports Club as Kenya Harlequin defeated Nondescript 32-12 at the same venue.

The University of Nairobi side Blak Blad claimed their second victory of the season after beating their university rivals Strathmore University side Leos 24-22 at Kenyatta University as Mwamba upheld their resurgence to beat Menengai Oilers27-15 at the RFUEA.

At Nakuru Athletic Club, hosts Nakuru enhanced their chances of reaching the play-offs when they humbled touring Mean Machine from the University of Nairobi29-10.
