Kenya Premier League (KPL)champions Gor Mahia will be taking on Lobi Stars from Nigeria in their first leg of CAF Champions League on Sunday afternoon at Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani.
The 17 times KPL champions will pocket kshs 56 million if they make it to group stages as they are set to capitalise on home advantage on Sunday before traveling to Nigeria on Friday for a return match.
The aggregate winner proceeds to the group stages due next month with a surety of pocketing Sh56 million and a further Sh66 million for reaching the quarter-finals of the coveted competition whose winner takes home Sh256million.
Gor bagged Sh27 million for gracing the group stages of the Caf Confederation Cupin the last campaign won by Moroccan outfit Raja Casablanca.
