Ushuru FC, who failed to return to Kenya Premier league (KPL) for the second time in a promotional cum demotion defeated immediate KPL side Wazito to go top in the National Super League (NSL) in the 5th fixture at Ruaraka Ground today.
Brian Yakhama and Victor Ayugi scored a goal apiece for Ushuru to defeat Wazito 2-0 to take a lead in the NSL table.
The taxmen lead the table with 13 points from five matches, leading another promoted side Shabana fc in goal difference with all teams collcting 13 points from five matches as wazito drops to third with 12 points from similar games.
Second placed Shabana won by similar margin over Kibera Black Stars at Camp Toyoyo, former KPL side Nairobi Stima won 4-2 against Kenya Police 4-2 as one of the match with many goals in the league at Camp Toyoyo and Modern Coast Rangers lost 2-0 to visiting FC Talanta at Serani Sports Grounds in Mombasa.
Migori played out to a barren draw against visiting Eldoret Youth and Green Commandos went down 2-1 against Thika United at Bukhungu stadium.
