Champions Vihiga Queens and SEP Oyugis girls collected maximum points in today’s Kenya Women Premier League matches.
The free scoring Teresa Engesha bagged a brace with Faith Marende scoring one goal as Vihiga defeated Kisumu All Starlets 3-0 at the Mumias Sports Complex.
Following the win, Vihiga Queens leads the table and will face Trans Nzoia Falcons next week on Sunday at the Kenyatta stadium in Kitale.
In another match, Yvonne Ogada and Monica Naswa scored goal each as SEP Oyugis came from a goal down to beat their hosts Eldoret Falcons 2-1 while Wadadia beat Nakuru West 3-1 in zone B.
In Zone A, Thika Queens hammered Kibera Soccer 8-1 while Zetech Sparks beat Mathare United 3-1 and Kayole hit Makolanders 2-0.
