Wambua recalls Vincent Onyala into Shujaa squad ahead of Perth 7s

Shaujaa, the national men’s rugby 7s team head coach Kevin Wambua has recalled former captain Vincent Onyala into the team ahead of the Perth’s 7s, the HSBC World Rugby 7s series that will be staged in Australia.

Today, Wambu named a travelling squad that has Onyala, who missed the 2022/2023 season where Kenya was relegated to the second tier and will be a key player at the two day event that starts on 23^rd-24^th January 2025.

Also returning is Brian Tanga who was suffering from an injury and Samuel Asati and George Ooro remain as co-captains.
