With one season on the Kenyan top flight football, Wazito fc will play at the National Super League (NSL) again after they were relegated from the Kenya Premier league (KPL).
Wazito lost by a solitary goal today against Chemelil to sink to the second tier after they were promoted this season in a match played today at Thika Stadium.
Lone goal from Clifford Omondi on 37 minutes sealed the victory to send Wazito back as Chemelil tallied their points to 35, seven behind 17th placed Wazito, who cannot surpass the figure should they win their remaining two games against Bandari and Sony Sugar.
The result sees Chemelil remain third from bottom with a point below 15th placed Nakumatt, who have 36 points.
Wazito joins Thika United in the relegateion after the later survived the axe following their win against Ushuru in the play off to play in KPL.
