William Ruto and Isgah Cheruto win Maspalomas Marathon

Kenyans William Ruto Cheboi and Isgah Cheruto claimed the Maspalomas Marathon held on Sunday in Spain.

Ruto won the men’s title in 2:18.00 ahead of Gran Carania Saul Castro taking the second position timing 2:33.31 and Andalusian Enrique Calvillo completing the podium in 2:33.52.

Two weeks after winning Dodoma marathon on 8^th November 2021, Isgah Cherto won the women’s title in 2:42.24 ahead of Lanzarote Aroa to second in 2:42.29 and compatriot Nancy Chepngetich in second position timing 2:44.17
