Chris Wokila and Pauline Naise will face three other players at this year’s Kenya Hockey player of the year award set for February 1st 2020 at Hill Crest school.
Wokila, who turns up for Greensharks Maverick, won the Magharibi Michezo player of the year award last month in Bungoma, was the 2019 men’s Premier League top scorer.
In the men’s fight for the prize, Wokila will face Festus Onyango and Sutcliffe Usagi who turns up for Strathmore and Wazalendo respectively.
In women’s category, Pauline Niase from Amira Sailors forward face teammate Leah Omwandho and Beatrice Mbugua of USIU.
At the coach’s level, Denis Owaka will tackle Daystar’s Ian Murunga and Thomas Mucheni.
