Former world javelin champion Julius Yego won javelin bronze at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.
Yego, who won gold at the 2014 Commonwealth Games settled for bronze, failing to recapture his title.
The former Olympic Games javelin silver medalist, popularly called the Youtube man had won the African javelin title and today, he hauled 85.70 to win bronze after beating the 80m mark, having thrown 80.66 to win the national trials in June.
Gold medal was won by Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem won gold in 90.18m as World Champion Anderson Peters of Grenada won silver with 88.64m.
