Jebitok and Chebet fail as Muir win 1,500m gold at Commonwealth games

Ednah Jebitok and Winny Chebet failed to win a medal in women’s 1,500m final at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.

The two Kenyans, Jebitok was the top Kenyan after finishing in 8^th position timing 4:08.33 while Chebet was 12^th timing 4:15.48 in a race won by Laura Muir from Scotland at the Alexander Stadium on Sunday.

Muir won in 4:02.75 followed by Ciara Mcgeean from Northern Ireland finished second in 4:04.14 for silver.
