The reigning world 800m champion Mary Moraa is off the market after accepting a proposal by his fiancé Richard Lagat.
Yesterday, when Moraa arrived in the country after winning the Diamond League series title at the Prefontain Diamond League season finale, she was surprised by her fiancé at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
The 23 Moraa Commonwealth Games 800m champion will now be married to a volleyball star Lagat a coach.
Lagat asked her to marry him. Down on one knee, he went, holding a placard written, “Will You Marry Me, and Moraa said yes to the love of her life.
