Former world under 20 5,000m champion Edward Zakayo, former world under under 20 1,500m champion George Manangoi and Kamar were the best Kenyan runners at the Boxx United Manchester World Athletics Continental Silver Tour.
Zakayo, the world under 18 5,000m silver medalist ran the fastest time, setting the Manchester Regional Arena’s record of 13:13.03 for the title ahead of Mike Foppen (13:25.40) and compatriot Michael Kibet.
Etiang was the best Kenyan in the 1,500m when he clocked 3:40.58 to finish second behind Uruguay’s Santiago Catrofe (3:40.58) with Manangoi coming in 5th timing 3:41.75.
Portugal’s two times National Indoor champion in 1500 and 3000, Isaaac Nader closed the podium three finishes in a time of 3:41.30.
