Zamalek SC ended the CAF Confederation Cup journey for the FKF Cup winners Kenya Police during the second leg of the play-offs held at the Zamalek, Cairo.
The Anthony Kimani side lost 1-0 at home at the Nyayo stadium, then holders managed to win 2-1 at home for a 3-1 aggregate to sail to group stages.
With the loss, Police returns to local football next weekend after missing the two opening fixtures.
Zamalek’s goals were scored by Ahmed ‘Zizo’ Sayed and Nasser Maher to seal the victory as Police managed to score a consolation through Jesse Were after converting from the spot.
