Kenya bounced back from the opening loss on Thursday to beat top ranked Nepal in the ongoing Five Match Twenty20 Cricket series played at the Gymkhana Ground in Nairobi.
Nepal, who won on Thursday today slumbered as Kenya recorded their first win a 1-1 draw ahead of tomorrow’s third match at the same venue.
The hosts led 132/9 against Nepal’s 114/10 where Kenyan captain Shem Ngoche said the game was good for the country following the victory.
Unlike the previous game Kenya began playing at a very stumpy note but later picked up when they made some changes.
The captain had retained his seamers while he and his teammate, Nehemiah Odhiambo continue bowling to the end of the game.
Nepal’s squad captain, Sandeep Lamichhane, recognized the Kenya’s win but promised that he and his boys would come back stronger in the next match.
