In a show of solidarity, Bixing Federaion of Kenya (BFK) President Anthony “Jamal” Otieno handed over a Bible and a flag to the team to go and shine in the Asian County.
Otieno handed the Bible to Fly weight Christine Ongare after issuing Kenyan Flag to Captain Nick Okoth.
Benjamin Moses-coached side included Christine Ongare (Flyweight), Nick “Commander” Okoth (Featherweight), Elizabeth Akinyi (Welterweight) and Elly Ajowi (Heavyweight).
Also those who travelled include the boxing team led by David Munuhe as deputy coach, John Waweru (coach) and Sospeter Kinuthia (Physiotherapist).
