Rugby legend player Willy Amabka will be facing top athletes in the years Sportsman of the Year category at the Safaricom Sports Personality of the Year (SOYA) awards.
Ambaka, who has dominated Kenya rugby series touching the ground for Shujaa, the national sevens teams, will be chasing the title against World marathon record holder Eliud Kipchoge, Kenyan International Star goalkeeper Patrick Matasi.
Ambaka and Matasi stands between athletic greats Kipchoge, Olympic and world 1,500m champion Elijah Manangoi and all time world winner Consenslus Kipruto for the title set for January 11th at Fort Jesus in Nairobi.
