Stephen Arita and Winfrida Moseti won the Nyamira North 10km race held today in Nyamira County, in a race that started at the Gekendo Primary school, ending at the Esanige stadium.
The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) Arita beat race favourite Enock Onchari, who won the Masaba North, with Arita finishing second last month.
He clocked 28:55.05 ahead of Onchari winner of the first two events of the series came second in 29:19.54, Evans Mayaka was third in 29:27.80, Barnabas Lemah (29:27.90) and Felix Boera (29:35.60).
Experienced Moseti won the women’s title in 33:34.32 leading Nancy Kerage to second in 36:02.66, Christine Oigo (36:34.76), Gladys Okero (37:48.18).
