Salim Babu, the Kenya under 20 football team, the Junior Stars head coach has today named a squad of players ahead of CECAFA championships that will act as the AFCON under 20 qualifiers.
The CECAFA under 20 set for Dar es Salam from October 6th-20th this year has been headlined by top players including Amos Wanjala (Athletic Club Torrellano) and Aldrine Kibet (Nastic Soccer Academy) as well as Tyron Kariuki.
Junior stars lead pool A alongside hosts Tanzania, Rwanda, Sudan, and Djibouti and the provisional squad will be camping in Nairobi and will depart on October 4th.
Babu, assisted by Anthony Akhulia will guide the team that has a mixture of professionals and school going boys.
