Baringo and Samburu share points as Rift Valley Primary football starts

Baringo and Samburu played out to a draw in the opening match of the Rift Valley Region Primary Schools Sports Association that kicked off today at the kabarnet ASK Showground in kabarnet, Baringo County.

With only match played after the official opening ceremony of the four day championships, both teams played out to a 1-1 draw in the pool C encounter to set the ball rolling for the 14 counties championships.

The hosts scored first in the 17^th minute when Gilbert Biwott converted from the spot kick following a foul in the box.

Heading into the water break, Baringo maintained their lead but Joel leveled the matter in the 40^th minute for Samburu, maintaining the score until the final whistle.
