Barno on a shot lead at Hippo pot in Nyanza

Nandi Bears golfer Elly Barno will enjoy a one shot lead at the Hippo Pot, the Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) meeting on par 72 Nyanza Golf club.

Barno, who finished second at the Goldfields in Kakamega fired three under par 69 to take an overnight lead ahead of tomorrow’s final in the 36 hole tournament.

Second position is currently held by Limuru’s Dennis Maara, the Coronation Trophy winner with two under par 70 as Ruiru’s Bernard Omondi in third with -1.
