Busia Wolves needed extra 120 minutes to defeat Kakuma United in the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) National Division Two Western Zone Mini League play-off match played today at Kapsabet Showground, Nandi County.
With bother teams promoted to the FKF Division One Zone B, the Wolves from Busia County won 3-1 to finish first against Turkana’s Kakuma who forced the match into extra time.
Douglas Owori scored twice to tally his goals to three in the play-off that kicked off on Saturday afternoon. He struck his first goal on 28th minute to give his side a 1-0 lead but Shaban Oliver, scoring his second goal in the tournament spoilt the winning party when he scored on the 90th minute to force the final match into extra time.
With lack of composure and missed chances in the goal-mouth, Allan Livondo netted his first goal on the 102nd minute to give the Wolves the lead before Owori sealed the victory for Busia on 120th minute.
